Airbus is putting out new aircraft that the airlines actually want. Boeing, under former MD managers, is offering redesigned models of old airframes that are suffering performance and reliability issues. Not a good recipe for the long term viability of the company. Guess they are counting on the “too big to fail” rule.

Well the new group of DEI Astronauts should feel really good about going into space in their DEI designed spacecraft. Kinda like the submarine that dove on the Titanic last year.

I'd like to hear more about this as I know several United Pilots based in Houston. I understand there was an engine fire or failure EP associated with this landing too. It's possible that they touched down with a bit of yaw.

Vertical integration, without the kind of commitment Elon can provide, is bullshit in the space industry.

Boeing produced incredible space hardware in the 80's in Kent. Sold the building to Costco, or Sam's or some BS.

The engine problem was a separate incident. At least Boeing can pass that one off on the engine manufacturer.
