As far as I know, Costco is one of the last businesses requiring masks in MT. Hell, even WallyMart dropped them after our governor did in Jan.

Just walked in to Target, diaper in hand. Greeter asked if I needed a mask. No thanks, I've got one. She asked me to put it on. I said sure, and kept on trucking. Got what I needed, paid and left. All maskless.

I only go to Target if I'm identifying as a woman that day and want to try on clothes in the women's try on area. Haven't been to a Target in years. I do find that the older I get, the less shit I actually need. Most all of my shopping is for food and consumables, or for repairs to things I already have. I never was a big clothes shopper....some years, I don't buy a single clothing item. Hell, if I lost weight, I have plenty of smaller size clothes to fit into already.

I was watching with amazement as a young guy picked up an order while I was eating breakfast this morning. He had the mask down under his nose the whole time until he left the restaurant. Then he pulls it up as he walks out the door!!! Americans have turned into sheep afraid of their shadow. Just damn.

While out yesterday, we stopped a chain restaurant for lunch. One of the workers there was not only wearing a mask, but s/he was wearing disposable gloves.

Went to Lowe's today, to buy some kitchen cabinets. Walked in with no mask, wandered around the store, went to the kitchen design area and chatted with a consultant. Gave her the list that we needed and left the store for a couple of hours. Went back, purchased the cabinets and loaded them into the vehicles we had. We did have to go back for 2 more cabinets.

Bottom line, we were in the store three times today. At no time did I wear a mask, and at no time did anyone challenge me.

We’ve been to Lowes at least once/month for the past year+. Never worn a mask.
