I tried to spend a Canadian $50 in Tim Horton's once and was told NFway...but I'll take that USD $20 spot instead??? Better exchange rate than the bank... Tim Horton's FTW.

Cute Kittah....but alas, I beg to differ
I picked up a "Folly Pack" from New Belgium brewing....out of Ft. Collins, Colorado....the fine folks who brought us Fat Tire. THIS was in there. Holy Mary, Mother of God..... Now, I was a bit skeptical.....coriander? What the hell is coriander? But this stuff was good, and packed a punch like Mike Tyson. There were three of them in the Folly Pack....I'm saving one for Friday night. |

It may sound gay, but the ale is damn good. And any time you're willing to see which of us can drink the other under the table, I'm up for the challenge kittah. Keep in mind...I am German.

I feel defenseless in this thread. Oklahoma's koolaid 3.2 beer just makes me ashamed. Could I appeal to my northern and southern brothers sympathy to donate some of that stronger beverage my way. (Don't feel obligated to send anything with Coriander in it.)

If my paternal grand pappy was still around he'd fix you up with some hillbilly 'shine that would take your breath away.
And my mom's mom made homemade beer, while her dad was a bartender. All that and I don't drink a drop |

I grew into canuck brew easily but when I moved stateside, everything down here was beer-flavoured water-not bad, just weaker but at least I was intelligible longer. Then I went to Deutschland as a U.S. gubmint worker and happily discovered German suds!! After three bottles, I was convinced I spoke perfect German...

Obviously craft brew is very popular now- the days of watered down store bought piss are over.
I don't care how many race cars are sponsored or how clever the Superbowl ads are- 4% Macrobrew Lager sales will never be what they once were. |
