When I say I don't bleed much I mean it. This is little less than normal for blood draw, usually it's one round spot but this isn't uncommon for me either.
Yes this high platelet count has made post surgery difficult as instead of some bleeding I had clots. I tried to get Dr to consider it as post surgical issue that could come up as they check platlettes up front aka change post op stuff to account for it or at least warn a dude. Nobody gives 2 shits. I probably should have been on blood thinners especially since blood clots in legs can occur. Think I'll start taking medical advice from forums.... |

Friend up north got a free home evaluation from the county finally. Five hours of testing and inspection, holy shit...
Good news is he should get some much needed improvements to save him money finally. His 3 year old fridge is top of the list to be replaced, guy said it's huge energy draw(clamp meter used). Furnace and gas water heater also most likely will be replaced. Blown in insulation for attic along with attic stair pull down being insulated top and bottom. Basement which is a nightmare and less than half full height and concrete floor will get thick poly lined and sealed up to floor joist on walls. A couple of doors will get new weatherstripping/new storm door or replaced. Windows which are junk are too new to be replaced expect 2 on front of the house, hopefully they put storm windows on those at least. Few others things also like new thermostat. He was floored to say the least. Some things should be quickly approved and done immediately like the fridge the guy said. Most likely he was finally able to be eligible for some stuff due to Supreme Court over turning affirmative action so race isn't considered now... About time the guy caught a break, time is shorter than we'd like it to be. At least yesterday didn't suck completely. |

Evening all and happy new year.
Jim - damn man. I’m praying for you. I’d definitely recommend going to the Duke provider. You need to be your own advocate as they won’t do it for you. |

Good morning, all.
Snow predicted on Saturday so I will be going out and foraging today. There's a law on the books in Virginia that says you must try to buy all the milk and bread in the store if snow is expected. |

Morning Tikiman... I'll add to what Ben mentioned... don't forget the batteries and forget you ever drove in snow before.
