Default USPSBS

All of my packages this week have been marked as "No Access to Delivery Location - We could not access the delivery location to deliver your package"

Clear driveway, no snow or ice, front door is only 20 yards from the street, so it's a bullshit excuse. Somehow the UPS driver managed to walk a package 20 yards in these clear conditions, wtf is wrong with USPS?
Are they hiring so many entitled kids now with no work ethic and can just lie their way out of doing their job?
My home office looks out toward the street so I can literally see them not attempt a delivery when they claim they tried. I had a very shitty delivery woman at a previous place so much so that I just had them hold all my packages at the PO, but I don't want to resort to that now and make this new idiot's job easier.

Anyone ever make a complaint to the USPS and have anything come of it?

They all suck, once they take your payment they are not concerned with level of service, this goes for 99.99% of all business.
You can try to make a few phone calls to vent, but I doubt anyone there will care.

I have been waiting on my NW 103TB for three days, will not get here until Monday, I PAID FOR UPS 2-DAY DELIVERY, UPS claims all deliveries are delayed due to weather, there will be NO REFUND to me for the delayed service.

Yes. WE had one driver who was so fat he couldn't place packages on the ground so he threw them. Broke several items. USPS said they couldn't do anything without video proof. WTF? Three of us watched tubby do that. So, an outdoor security cam covering the door and driveway fixed that and we no longer have fat-ass delivering mail in our neighborhood.

Call the local postmaster if that does not work call the postmaster general. They will take care of it from my experience.

My parent's neighborhood got a Vietnamese mailman who was just plain a dick. Lots of the neighbors complained about him, missing mail, lots of misdelivered mail, refusing to deliver the mail, etc. They were all told there was really nothing that could be done, they were stuck.....I'm guessing diversity hire can't be fired.

I had an issue with him once, I had (WRONGLY) parked in front of the mailbox and was outside, SAW him coming around. I didn't have time to move the truck, but I walked out, profusely apologized for blocking the mailbox, said it wouldn't happen again, that I knew better, and asked him to just hand me the mail. Mom was outside watching.

Vietnamese guy won't do it, so I just leaned on his truck, wrapped my right arm around the mirror, and just looked at him. He's trying to figure out how to get away from me, but he'd have to hurt me to move the truck. Can I move away?

Sure. Can I have the mail first?

[Mexican standoff ensues for a little while]

He hands me the mail, I thank him, and again tell him I'm sorry, and I won't park there again. This is the guy who would get out of his truck and put a note in the box of other neighbors explaining why he wasn't going to deliver the mail, because there was a car too close to the box. So he expended MOAR effort. He could have just stuck the mail in the box, vs. the note, then he wouldn't have to bring the undelivered mail back and mix it with the next day's mail. Douchebag.

I could understand doing that to a repeat violator, to make a point, but he apparently did it to everyone, no exceptions.


The best mailman I ever had was a guy who looked like he had mild Down's Syndrome. Nothing was ever lost or mis-delivered. He was good at his job, and was friendly. I miss him.

Amazon delivery - On time
FedEx - On time
UPS - On time
Postal service - We're sorry for the delay. We are shipping your package back and forth unnecessarily to the same hub multiple times and then letting our driver carry it around for a few days. You should have it in three days. If it does not arrive in three days, we will deliver it within the next week, or two weeks, or by Easter.

Go talk to the postmaster, have pics ready. Be prepared to be disappointed as they're union so almost nothing ever changes.

Luckily our post office is top notch.

Package delivery problems might not be your postman's problem right now. Both the North Houston office, and the office down in Sugarland, I think are having problems trying to get packages sent to the local offices for delivery. It's been on the news the last week.

Local PO gave me a call (even though I told USPS they can email me, not call) and said the driver won't deliver packages to the door because there's some snow in front of the mailbox on the street. In other words, driver doesn't want to deliver packages to the door because it's too much trouble to deliver letter mail to the mailbox on the street. All or nothing. The whole street isn't getting their mail.
Wonder if I move my letter mailbox to my door, the brain cells might click.

Update:
My UPS 2-day delivery paid for on Monday has no updates.
Appears not to have been scanned once picked up from vendor, no activity listed.
Delivery date is now Monday JAN 29th, which if it gets here then, which I have many doubts, would be a 7-day delivery.

Again, what you pay for vs. what you get is very different.

We live at a rural address. Previous mailman was great. Gave him my gate code and he'd place packages at my door. Unfortunately, he perished in a motorcycle accident.

Replaced by a fat f**k that refused to open my gate and threw packages on the ground in full view of a busy highway. He asked to be transferred because there were too many packages on the route. His replacement can't read. I get my neighbor's mail and God know where mine goes.

Sent a certified letter to a local address and it got lost. Filed for a refund and they denied the claim.

I subscribe to something called Informed Delivery that tells me what mail is supposed to be delivered each day and half the time it shows up a couple of days later, if at all. Tried to call the Postmaster but the call always goes to a full voice mailbox. Finally went to the PO to see him personally and his office door was locked.

If I have important outgoing mail, I take it to the Post Office and pray it gets there.

Sunday, the postal rates go up!

We have a separate PO Box for security reasons. I have the same thing with USPS, when my trace shows delivered, it's only from one local hub to another. I have it down where when I see it delivered for the 3rd time, I know it is at the box

LOL our subdivision has those community mailboxes at the end of each street. About 3-4 years ago I got fed up with these illiterate carriers giving us everyone else's mail half the time and wrote a nasty letter and stuck it in the outgoing mail slot.

No threats, just full of insults. Well I guess it worked because a couple weeks later, a notice was placed reminding everyone about the legalities of someone telling them to go fk themselves-sort of speak.
