Had colonoscopy and double balloon enteroscopy this morning to expand part of my terminal ilium.

1. Profophol is the greatest party drug in the world. As long as the party only lasts six seconds.

2. I am in remission clinically diameter expanded from 37mm to 200mm

3. This means I can get more surgery which I need. If the disease was active, I can’t get shit fixed. However, no want. Oh well.

4. Post procedure 101.7 fever, BP 113/62 heart rate 113 resting, shaking uncontrollably.

I’m under observation at home for the next four hours. If things don’t improve, it’s off the the ICU again.

Sigh. Just when work is picking up. God works in myterious ways.

I’m pretty sure this is from pushing my brother down the stairs as a kid. Multiple times. Plus that one chick in 1984…

Fever 101.1

BP is nuts. 128 heart rate at resting. That is a sign of septicemia, but more likely a more minor infection called bacteremia. Should be able to fight it off. It’s pretty rare but happens when they take biopsies. Bacteria gets in the blood.

They used that shit on me at my last colonoscopy and it hurt like hell for those 6 seconds before it knocked me out.

Ha! I had the same experience about five scopes ago when they first started using it. I had woken up during the previous scope so the switched the Milk of Amnesia.

The nurse says, “this might sting a little…” as she presses the plunger. It felt like ****ing lava going in my arm.

I started to say “Hey! That stings….”

Two hours later, I wake up and yell “a lot!”

At my next scope (I get one every year) it was the same tech. I said “you lied to me about the stinging.” She smiled and said “yeah, but since you only feel it for two seconds, jokes on you!”

Yesterday, the techs said “How are you? We’ve worked on you before. Looks like six times..”

I’m thinking, “Great, my asshole has a fan club.”

This time she injected lidocaine right before the Michael Jackson Juice. Didn’t feel a thing. I even tried to stay awake for fun. Nope.
