Dr shop until you find one with a sexy assistant. It makes saying, "There's nothing like the feeling of a freshly shorn scrotum." so much mo' funner.

In my case, my wife actually sat in the room and watched (maybe because she wanted to make sure it was actually done...I dunno). Watching my wife watch the hot brunette assistant shave my balls was pretty fun. Asking my wife if I can come back for touch up shaves wasn't.

See you just have to LOOK for the positives.

It was nothing. Anybody that freaked out as much as he did must be a complete *****.

I didn't even have any pain meds in me except the novocaine or whatever he inkected, when I had the snips... just a single Xanax, which is an anti-anxiety medication. For the record, it did relieve an awful lot of anxiety on my part. I could feel pretty much what he was doing, plus he announced what he was doing as he did it.

Anyone thinking about (aboot) having this operation, don't take any of the original post's article into consideration, because it's complete bunk.

I especially have no recollection of the kicked in the balls feeling when the snip was made.

Amusing story, but complete BS from my own (and buddys') experiences. I popped a Vicodin and washed it down with some vodka beforehand. Not that it was gonna hurt, but it was after 2 pm.

The only downside was when the Doc asked if it was completely numb. I said something like "yeah, except here" and apparently touched my junk when pointing. You'd have thought it was a fuking scene out of Andromeda Strain. Doc freaks out and starts yelling for nurses - don't know why; their hands couldn't have been any cleaner than mine.

Well after about six nurses had come in to help re-sterilize my balls, he finally finished. Not much you can do but laugh. No real pain, other than random chicks seeing your junk at its absolute worst.

How long was I "down," as in, on the operating table? Not long- 15 to 20 minutes tops.

Today is Day 12 after the procedure. I'm feeling just fine. Still wearing the jock strap for scrotal support, but I could probably take it off. No meds since about a week ago. I may have popped an Extra Strength Tylenol here or there but for the most part I didn't need it.

There was definitely some discomfort during the first 7-8 days or so. Right now, it's not bad at all. Today I did more physical work than I've done since the procedure. No problems so far.

Yes, about a week. I should add I really really really don't like taking pain pills.

I'd have to say no. You don't want those huevos moving at all. When they move... that's where the discomfort comes in. Also, on Day 3 I did more physical activity (light lifting, squatting, etc.) and really got things swollen up and uncomfortable. All this was without a jock strap. When I talked to the nurse that was the first thing she said was- put it back on. I did, and things went much more swimmingly (no pun intended).

After my appointment, I felt pretty damn good, so good I went out and cut the lawn. Next day, GRAPEFRUITS ! Ice bags and frozen peas for days after that.

I had two different incidents with mine that I would not want to go through again. The first was the needle in the nut times two, that sob hurt like hell. I would imagine there are different methods now. After the doc was done he gave me my instructions and told me that on VERY rare occasions people have been known to become infected internally. I was unfortunate enough to become infected in both balls. Those things were so sore even I could not touch them. Naturally the doc wanted to see me. He said to pull down my pants so he could take a look. I told him that whatever he did not to touch them that they were ungodly sore. He went ahead and grabbed them and I darn near passed out. Once I got done giving him hell he gave me a Rx and told me to go home. A few days later all was well but I have never ever felt pain like that down there.
