Im getting ready to Brkt race a 2005 C6 Vert stock, I would like to get an idea of what guys are using and size also wheels. How does diameter effect your rpm on the stock gearing ? Havent run this car at all yet.

What mods do you plan to do and how fast do you plan on going?
You have lots of options if you're staying stock up to another 100 horses. You won't benefit much from skinnies up front unless you plan on going 10s or deeper. You'll only get a tenth out of skinnies in stock trim. Beyond that you have choices based on your rear gears and where you need to redline so you don't run out of gear before the traps. You can do budget wheels that are cheap and heavy or go with a nice setup from Weld. Scott

Drag Wheels and Tires
No plans for the 10,s and I dont have a Z51 its stock gears probably 2:60 or 2:80 s and I dont need Skinnies would like a set of tires for the rear maybe street drag radial. I just want to play, I quit racing stock and superstock some years ago I feel the need. Thought someone might give me an idea of what they are running on their C6.

Run it just like it sits. Go to a couple test and tunes, work on your reaction time and find out what it likes for launch sequence. Kill the tree and be dead nuts consistent and it won't matter what it runs; if you hit the number every time you win.
