Pro Tip- it's easier to go buy new clothes than to do laundry. Pile up the dirty shit until she gets home, she will appreciate you for that.

Pro tip #2--when making coffee, recognize that the water fill CAN hold more than a pot of water ,but if you overfill the machine will keep running. Keep napkins nearby so you can throw them at the overflowing pot when you screw up and over fill.

Pro tip 3-- a credit card and uber eats app download solves any food issues. Simply download the app and order nice meals from any local place on the app. This saves the time ot food shop, prep and cook, as well as cleanup. You are welcome.

I’ll work on the clothing pile.

I don’t drink coffee but I’ll get that going too. Can’t be too careful.

Wait a minute. I sat at the dinner table for three hours last night and no food showed up. I finally just snorted some aspirin (that’s all I could find) and went to bed.

I’m now waiting again at the table for breakfast. So far, nothing.

Also, I woke up and the dog was standing over me drooling. I think I woke up just in time. He was certainly going to kill and eat me.

He better figure out how to open that food container soon. He already opens doors so I figure he will be fine.

Now I have to figure out where my clothes are.

I have to admit, one lesson I learned very young was to be self sufficient and not depend on a man.

There are VERY few things I have found I cannot do on my own, I mow the lawn, can run chain saw, weed eater and trimmers, do most minor repairs around the house (plumbing/electrical/ paint / spackle...blah blah blah.)

I was single for 14 yrs so was glad my dad taught me how to do these things and did not just do them for me and baby me.

As I have gotten older, and my lupus has affected my strength, there are more things that I have trouble with and need the hubs muscle or hand strength.

Point being, I think it is great to not be dependent on spousal unit, also learned with the shop owner dying where my vette was, his wife is clueless about his business and he had made no arrangements in the event of his death.... its a nightmare that I witness all too often at work as well when there are not plans in place or communication about insurance/finances etc.

Sorry, I digress....

I hope you survive till she gets back.

I was taught when I was a boy that being a man, meant you were self-sufficient. My wife was gone for something like 10-11 weeks earlier this year getting her Dad out of his condo, into a hospital, then a rehab center, then an assisted living facility. When she finally got home, the house was clean, the laundry was clean, the dog and I had been fed well every day, the taxes were done awaiting her signature etc. Yeah, we missed her, but that was it, life went on as normal.

I also have zero doubt that if the positions were reversed, I would have come home to the same situation.
