A CF resident schmuck, VB6369 gave me a warning for answering a WTB

I rarely even open the CF forum site or post there, for years now. I just happened to take a peak the other evening, and saw a guy asking for Micro Wheel weights. Answering the request, I posted that I'd send pictures, pricing and availability, and that I had plenty on hand.

Mr. VB63/69 slaps a warning and deletes my post, stating it was against rules posting commercial sales.....

I'd hardy consider the sale of maybe a dozen wheel weights average, per year, commercial sales. If so, said company would be in bankruptcy over postage and packaging costs alone!

Luckily, the buyer and I made contact and emailed each other before the mut played his kids game.

Maybe this post here will get me banned over there?

Does this "control" somehow affect one's adrenaline or stimulate another sense? I really don't quite understand who would aspire to such a goal?

I suppose, the BIG change there is that it used to be posters that ****ed it up stupidly posting (me included), but now it's changed it's the Moderators that continue to find new ways to **** up the site......

Are there even any rules to learn? My observation is that each individual mod just makes up his own rules which vary depending upon his mood and/or how much beer they've had that night.

I am dropping my subscription when it comes due in April.
I haven't posted on the C1-C2 forum since March, IIRC, and rarely post on CFOT. It's a dead site these days.....all the good guys are over here now.

I was part of the first group over there. I haven't been on there in a decade probably. I do remember him being a weird and complete ass.

Many remember "ohiovette" who sold LED bulbs for hobbyists as a sideline - no biggee and he didn't solicit on the CF at all; never saw him do that even once.

HOWEVER, his stuff got so popular with so many reccomendations by members for his goods that he received a liftetime ban for sales and not being a registered vendor (for $300/month) from the actions of others...

That was a watershed and marked the start of the slide into the jackbootery over there.

The moderators over there are terrible people who have serious issues. Who in his right mind would volunteer for free to bust car hobbyists and punish them? Have a friend who I encouraged to join CF a few years back for the For Sale section. He has been restoring Corvettes for 40 years and has accumulated a large quantity of parts and over a short period of time started to sell some parts. VB63/69 then gets some harebrained idea that he is a business and demands that he become a vendor. No evidence whatsoever that he is a business and even after pleadings that he is not a business, the dick bans him. Plus he is a law enforcement professor which is amazing that he can assume w/o any evidence. Where did he get his credentials? Out of a cereal box?

CF isn't alone. I got banned from the forsale section of KTMtalk because I incorrectly marked my item as "no longer avaiable" instead of sold. Now I can no longer do searches or read any ad in the forsale section. I PMed the admin, asking if this was permanent, but was ignored.
