I'm not defending Bush. I'm just telling you that the reality is that a US president is not going to be prosecuted for war crimes. You can forget about it, and so can Chris Matthews. The only difference between you and Matthews and you on this issue is that you really believe it, and he's saying it to get TV ratings.

When I was a young man I fantasized about Nixon and Johnson dying in prison for the lies they told us. I now have the perspective of seeing that didn't happen.

I see ... so if we continue to let U.S. presidents go after wars they conducted for no more purpose than of fullfilling their destiny ... especially republican presidents who still want revenge for Libs winning WWII and republican presidents still trying to get revenge for Viet Nam ... ths is okay with you ... is this what you're saying ?

To answer your first question, sadly, yes.

All the news on TV, pick your channel, is not there to inform you. It is there to appease you, get ratings and make a profit. The people that produce this crap are howling with laughter that there are places like this where people seriously debate it.
