You can't be PC and be in a war. The only way to engage is to wipe out the enemy or get unconditional surrender, like we did with the Japanese. No negotiations. No talks. SURRENDER OR DESTRUCTION. PERIOD.
We need to burn the cancer that is Iran from the face of the globe. Like most cancers, there will be some extra tissue removed to ensure all of it was removed.
I am starting to like you.....

Knocking down 300ish virtually simultaneous targets including 120 ballistic missiles is a really amazing feat. I'm sure it only happened because we pretty much knew it was comming, but it's still amazing. The part I want to know, but we will never hear, is what percentage of Iran's ballistic missile and drone stockpile was used? What percentage of Isreal's Arrow 2, Arrow 3, and Iron Dome were expended? What percentage of our on-station SM-3 and SM-6 were expended? How quickly can those be resupplied?

So Western air defences WORK. Great. How well do Russian and Chinese air defences work? Iran has both. We may learn how well they stack up to the F-35's stealth and Isreali tactics soon.

I may be wrong but it appears that Israel and the US spent considerably more money shooting down those mostly drones and some missals than Iran did firing them. A major disparity in capital outlaid and put a serious dent in our availability of more of those expensive defense weapons!

For reference, Iran has about 1/50 the GDP of the United States and about 2/3 the GDP of Isreal. The attack was more expensive to them than the defense was to the United States. Maybe more costly to Isreal. But its not like you have to pay for the weapons when you use them. You've already paid for them whether they are expended in combat (rarely) or if they are eventually disposed of for being too old or obsolete.

Let's say the Iranian drones retail for $ 25K a piece, the missiles, probably more.

Now let's look at what we're shooting them down with. Those things are probably $1-1.5M each, and we no doubt shot more defensive missiles than they shot offensive missiles. When we shoot and miss, we shoot again if we have time.

Add to that the fact that we are broke, have a higher per capita national debt than either Israel OR Iran, and in the war of attrition, this hurts us more. We should have stayed out if it completely.

I don't remember Israel ever sending planes, soldiers, tanks, whatever, whenever WE were fighting a war. I don't remember them helping the UK, or France, either. When the Fauklands War was raging, where were the Israeli jets? Israeli ground troops?
