Some bad stuff was supposed to go down here last night. The Walmarts closed around 6 and had pallets of water or wooded pallets blocking all entrances. A lot of smaller stores around them were locked also. Talked to some of my friends and we were "locked and loaded"!!
Thankfully nothing happened!
These thugs passed protesting a long time ago. This is anarchy and rioting and needs to be dealt with severely and quickly! Go Mr. President!

And since they are Military Police, they show up under federal authority, too, which comes with a few less restrictions if the ROEs allow.

MPs have federal authority. Local LEOs can't touch them. See my post above, and i guarantee you that they won't get over zealous. they can't afford to be a spectacle in the news and you rarely see anything about them in war zones because of their training.

If a shot is fired, or a soldier is injured from a molotov cocktail, or brick, or whatever the weapon d'jour is, and they are going to do NOTHING, then why even show up? We don't need more uniforms to observe the looting.

NG and Reserves regularly deploy now to combat zones.
