Default Obama in Afghanistan

*Breaking*

Obama in Afghanistan on unannounced trip - World news - South and Central Asia - Afghanistan - msnbc.com

BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan — President Barack Obama slipped unannounced into dangerous Afghanistan on Friday, one year after widening an ever deadlier war and just days before a pivotal review about the 9-year-plus conflict.

Under intense security, Obama landed in night's darkness after a clandestine departure from the White House on Thursday, where plans of his trip into the war zone were tightly guarded.

The White House said rough weather forced Obama to abruptly drop plans to meet Afghan President Hamid Karzai in Kabul. The White House determined the wind, dust and cloud cover made it unsafe for the president to fly by helicopter from the huge military complex here to the presidential palace 30 miles away.

In a rapidly changing sequence of events, the White House then said they would speak by secure videoconference — but later said that, too, was dropped. Instead, the two leaders were expected to speak by phone.

Obama also was to meet with Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. and NATO war commander in Afghanistan, and Karl Eikenberry, the U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan.

President Barack Obama is greeted by Gen. David Petraeus and U.S. Ambassador Karl Eikenberry after stepping off Air Force One at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan on Friday.

The CF/PR&C have been bitter every since Obama kicked the crap out of their Presidential Predictions and proved once and for all, they really didn’t know what the hell they were talking about.

His trips to a war zone are no different than what other presidents do go in without announcements. The Afgan enemy there does not like him any better than the last president and would love to knock him off, after all he is still waging war against them, not the last president

So, is this your new Wetwired.org? You really should break things up every now and then, and talk about Vettes, or drums . . . perhaps TAMA 2004 Exotix?

I participate in many *Boys with Toys* forums and for many years ... this is my political participation forum ... what's good about this forum is that *designated Libs by neocons* such as myself who were once *real conservatives* until Bush ... can conduct themselves as smarter than you, angrier than you and a bigger mouth than you without getting banned ...

Now, if this disturbs you ...

What does disturb me is that you seem to have left quite a steaming hot trail of sh!t all over the net. Do you seriously get off on driving people crazy, and thinking you're nucking futs? It just seems like a just a strange way to spend time to me. You elude that you could care less about what people think of you, but you thrive on shining a spotlight on yourself and listening to yourself rant, hoping someone will give you kudos. You join yet another site, where 98% of the members are not on board with your views or delivery of them, and seem to get a real jolt out of it. Why not just join a clearly Dem supporting political website? Or get out and do some real Dem activism? 100% of the members could be on board with you, and you wouldn't have to pretend you're superiority or belittle others' views. An hey, why not get REAL nuts and simply move to another country that has a government more to your socialist standards?

This is the kind of spiel I drive right-wingers into displaying ... it's not hard though ...

*patriotism is a virtue of the vicious* ~ Oscar Wilde ...

Believe me, you're full of it with the % of the members you're talking about either with me or against me ... 100% of the members merely want to hear my **** like this wether thay are onboard with me or not ...

Mainly because nobody wants to have their azz kissed by con-men ... that's called getting schmoozed and patronized and lied too ... no, they want to hear *truth & fact* as a function of what's wrong with the political spectrum today and/or as a function of yesterday as a function of themselves ... grown-ups and mature adults understand this ...

If you want your azz-kizzed and feel more comfortable and safe amongst your own ... I suggest you go back to CFPR&C or Digital Corvettes ...

I don't know why I even wasted my time. You didn't take the time to consider anything i said. You want to go through life as a condescending blowhard? More power to you. I just thought perhaps you'd like an honest assessment of your forum presence. You see my writings as "spiel" but continue to regurgitate your useless drivel. I will tell you yet again that I did not frequent CFPR&C (? three posts in ~ 4 years) and I only joined DC when a bunch of BS went down with Stuzvette (sp?) and that was extremely short lived. I did not care for that place at all, and did not participate.

While you seem to believe your intelligence, thoughts and opinions are somehow superior to anyone not on board with you, you have no chance possible for an original thought or idea. We are all capable of the same research as you. How you use choose to use that information and deliver it where you fail miserably. I do not wish to have my "azz-kizzed" nor do I need a blanket of safety while I am here. I was merely attempting to give you a chance to assess your weaknesses as a debater here. I figured that as much time you spend on certain topics, you might want to become better at it for the sake of everyone else.

I will henceforth leave you to your illustrious online career as every forum's "village idiot". Have fun with that.

This "grown-up mature adult" moves on to bigger fish.

Well, one thing that does irk me, are posters who type in run-on-sentences (goes to lack of communication skills that assumes dummyism) ... so I fixed your prose for you ...

Hilarious! That's all you got out of that?!? Sure, I could hit return twice after every sentence, but now it just looks like a poem.

BTW, you use hyphens incorrectly and had an improper use of "too" in another post. I didn't call it out because I had more intelligent things to say. Grown-ups and mature adults understand this.

You certainly are a piece of work, if nothing else.

BTW: They're called paragraphs. Try it some time, they're fun.
Also, you can nix the dramatic pauses ... they just make you seem more ... patronizing.

exotix. It's just amazing to me that you have come to yet another "predominantly" conservative forum by your own choice! Is it that you can't get a good "argument" from other liberals??

C'mon Tinkerbell ... even the exotix has never seen where the *beauty of the vette* is (neo)-conservative ... unless one bought her vette because her revenue/shares in Big Oil increased dramatically because of wild speculation all during Bushs' Iraq War and Katrina ... sad.

by my count you're still in the minority. But it does make life and forums interesting to have a good mix of personalities. (for the most part)
