Giant WTF Facebook

I use Facebook to promote my music. I occasionally post boring videos of me and my dogs. I went to set up an ad campaign to sell An Austin Blue Christmas and get a notice that my account was turned off for six months of inactivity.

I fill out their retarded form to turn it back on - and I get this:

"Our records indicate that your payments account was disabled because it violates Facebook's terms of service. In the interest of protecting our users, we cannot confidently re-enable your payments account at this time."

WTF is wrong with these people. My business wants to spend some money (a modest amount, but still...) on ads - the very thing they are in business for - and they give me this shit.

I've run exactly 2 campaigns - both to promote music. This one I was hoping to run was to raise money for charity.

They have zero reason -(their entire response is above).

These platforms have become too big. Regardless of my stupid ad issue, they will ultimately kill the Republic. Beyond that, they are already killing kids ability to form relationships and are creating legions of zombied out morons who live vicariously through their phones.

The even more idiotic thing is that they restrict promotional posts so you have to spend money on ads. So I attempt that and they won’t let me.

I’m going to hit the organic side heavy and hope we sell enough to get out of the hole. The album is first rate and I know it will sell enough eventually but I need to sell advance packages to avoid going into debt to pay for reproduction.

Like it or hate it Facebook is super important to promote music. ****ing assholes.

It was twitter and this was a meme created a few months earlier and had already made the rounds on the internet in various forms. Its meaning is simple. Some 4chan/reddit people thought it would be funny to see if they could trick liberal males into thinking their vote would dilute the liberal women's vote, and that by staying home they would increase the value of their fellow women.

The idea that twitter apparently thought this meme would work on liberal males tells you all you need to know of their opinion of their fellow democrats.

Similar memes were made prior to the 2016 election, one of them comes to mind "Draft Our Daughters" which was hilariously taken seriously. Example:
