Yeah, there's no excuse for that. Especially when they don't apologize for being late. My rule is that if I'm stuck in the room for 30 minutes and doc doesn't come see me, I'm out the door.

I was running late for a doctor's appointment one day and they called me to see if I was going to be there. I told them that since they usually make me wait for up to 30 minutes after my appointment time, I was trying to get ahead of that curve. They were not amused.

45 minutes is my limit and, of course, they best not bill me for an office visit OR a cancellation.

FYI-- a lot of docs makes rounds in the mornings and can be detained for emergencies or priorities.

If so; they should not make early appointments.

Well, I woke up to a call from Wounded Warrior Project this morning since they handle all by benefits and disability stuff with the VA. I had an evaluation for a rating increase last week and the bumped me up to 100%. It's official....I'm now old and decrepit.
