Found this in some stuff we are going through. I had to play a show in Chicago that night so I couldn't go. Heard the news on the radio on the way back to Milwaukee.

I was lucky enough to see him play in '82 or '83......It was one of my top 5 shows, and I've seen a lot of 'em in my day. That dude was cool as a cucumber, and made it look easy.

I saw him at Antones in Austin around '82. Plus I don't know how many times in the years following. What a loss.
