I really don't know what you can do about this, other than not pay and then not return to LA.

Edit: The last few times I have been on I-10/I-12 in LA the police mainly the state boys, have been out working like crazy. Short of Osama Bin Ladin being sighted on the road, there is really no excuse for that many revenue collectors on one road. Pitiful money grab.

I realize this place is a well known speed trap now and had I known beforehand I certainly would have been more careful. In the future you can be sure I will be 5 under on this stretch of highway. But the bottom line is I was speeding. I think the fine is a bit high but if you play you gotta pay and there's no crying in fast Corvettes.

From everything I've read about Washington, Louisiana if you're doing 76 mph or over you're getting a ticket on that stretch of 49 especially if you're sportin' out of state tags. Next time I'll back it down to 70 for the 5 miles before and five miles after that exit.
