Default Injector Connectors

Does anyone here have any experience disassembling the connectors that connect to the injectors? I'm assuming they're weather-pack connectors, as everything else under the hood is. Any tips are appreciated.

I assume you mean actually taking them apart vs. just unplugging them right? I mean surely someone who's installed a blower and removed their entire drivline knows how to take them on/off???

Just checking.

I got some adapters from FAST for mine during my SC install. I plan on cutting my wires and soldering the new connectors to my wiring soon to make it neater looking.

You could get the connectors/pins at Fuel Air Spark Technology? - The Leading Name in Fuel Injection - EZ-EFI®, XFI?, Air Fuel Meters, Distributors, Alternators, Fuel Injectors, Intake Manifolds, Big Mouth 92mm Throttle Bodies?.

Yes I was referring to pulling the sockets out of the housing. What worked for me was inserting a jewelers screwdriver into the gap in the tower on the open end of the connector. There's a little retaining tab that must be lifted on each socket. Trouble is, the sockets exit the housing from the open end. So getting a piece of shrink wrap over both wires is a no go without cutting and soldering.

After that I decided to try to dial down the OCD a little and use elec. tape for the time being

I found the tool for the job.

FAST: EFI Terminal Tools

I understand the OCD issue, that is why I am chopping mine, only to make it a little better looking.
