Brilliant! Except I don’t have a lawn or lawn mower. Can you tie it to my garage door opener? Wait, I don’t have a garage. Can you make it light my grill?

Will finish building in AM when cooler. Still will finish before Mick fixes his deck stairs

Fixes? They ain't broke.

The guy who built them sucked, so as soon as they started rotting at all, I knocked them down and rebuilt them. Other problems resulted, mostly from prior contractor not building things squarely, so I had to re-do some shit. Wife didn't like some of the things that I did, so I had to re-do some shit I re-did again, again. Some of the re-re-do knocked a few stairs out of level, so I need to re-level them again before I will sign my name to them. The leveling should take an afternoon at most, but I can't seem to stop working on other people's taxes long enough to find an afternoon to do it! I was hoping that would finally happen this week, as I don't yet have the paperwork to re-do my son's taxes, but then a hurricane hit.

Sometimes I wonder how I had the time to work a full-time job.

Whoever built deck at my last place used non galvanized fasteners... Finish nails to hold framing together. Posts for Railings were "fixed" with drywall screws and caulking. Would have been quicker to tear it down and rebuild for the time took to fix it correctly.
None of the wood was rotten just put together shitty. Six heffers could have danced on it when I was done. The neighbors just tore a pool deck down, professional job and it about fell apart, suprised it didn't fall down.
