My friend's dad is missing out of Frederick, MD. You may have already seen the Silver Alert but trying to cover as many bases for them as I can...

"My dad left for the office at noon today and has not been seen since. There is a current Silver Alert out and the Sheriff and several deputies are on the road looking . Here is the vehicle information : Silver Genesis MD Tag 6DT5014. Please call 623-243-2907 if you see him . Please keep him in your prayers."

I was driving through there yesterday late morning. Weather was terrible, snowing. Trace his usual route and look down embankments. He could have easily slid off the road. God bless.

Man that scary. If he's down in Va where we live he's really out of town. We are in Warrenton. I'll certainly keep my eyes out. Please let us know when you find him.
We are going through my 86 year old Mom loosing her mental capacities. We took her car keys and won't let her drive anymore and unfortunately we have to get her assisted living. It hurts to see her like this and we had to take these steps before something happened.

You are fortunate. My good friend's mom had Alzheimers and wandered off into the Arizona dessert. her remains were found almost two weeks later.

Maybe it's time for a really cool tracking bracelet.

Last year a 70 something year old male driver got ON the Florida turnpike OFF ramp late at night and hit interstate speeds going the wrong way and took out an entire vacationing family. There comes a time you have to hang up your spurs...

Not going to pry. My MIL had dementia and ended up northbound I-25 in the southbound lanes. Later the same month went north on I-25 instead of south and drove 40 miles to Denver thinking she was headed home.

I don't know if you are familiar with MD, but Charles County is literally on the other side of DC from Frederick and a 90 mile drive.

Just happy he's back at home. Pretty sure his son (my friend) will be having "the talk" with him.
