Pics?

Mine in 1978, during HS.

Very cool.
I just sold mine about 8 months ago. Covid, wife deemed disabled, but doing very well after left knee replacement and right knee replacement first week of February.

If GM gets off their asses soon, I'll have my 3rd vette in the garage. I've got enough to cover snide in his drought.

That is good news and more important

Yorn looks a bit quicker than mine I traced mine down by VIN. It's in the next state up from me and owned by a nice family that still enjoys it. I still like a '69 better that the '70s versions.

I sat down awhile back and tried to figure just how many cars and bikes have passed through my garage... I gave up at 60 or so; guess that makes me a car and bike guy.

Mine in 1978, during HS.

I had the same USA-1 front tag on mine. Note the "I love my Hooker Headers" stick on the Chevelle. Ansen Sprint wheels. Man I wish I had that back. Swapped a warmed up 427 in it before I finally sold it a short time after the pic with the TA was taken.

77 TransAm was wife's car. Probably taken in '78. Solo shot of SS was 72ish I'd guess.

THIS ^^^^

Early on the Chevelle got fatter every two years. The '68 and '69 got the slightly rounded side panels instead of the slab sided '66 and '67 - great looking cars also. They swelled a little again in '70 and lost the best looking roof line of any of the Chevelles IMO.

If I couldn't sell to make money, I'd take a '69 over a later LS6 car. Hmmm, one of each would be nice.
