Night sweats 1st night, and for 3 days so far since mild cold symptoms/slight congestion + strong fatigue & a bit of light-headedness.

She says its frustrating dealing with it because there's no set pattern or rhyme or reason. People she's sure will test positive getting negative hits, asymptomatic people getting positive hits, different symptoms for different people, and of course the reality that these tests aren't even 100% accurate or reliable.

A lot of her Friday test results have been available by Sundays so we're hoping mine will be.

I figure with it dug up and the lid popped like that, we should be OK and water can rise and pour out of that container.

Gonna call the A/C guys on Monday morning. Maybe instead of a dry well, they could extend the pipe, go under the sidewalk that is just out of view, and into the top of a collection box connected to a second french drain like that's just on the outside of sidewalk bordering this bed.

If you have access to all the plumbing for the drain and coil drain etc, I can show you what I did to mine. I keep a very small compressor in the attic now and I blow the lines out with it. I also pour Drano or bleach in them. It has a shut off that isolates the coil drain from the plumbing.

From what my daughter tells me, it may take 2 or three tests to find out if you have it, as like you said, they either aren't accurate or are done incorrectly.
How's your sense of taste? Can you taste food as normal ?
Jeez man, good luck. Hopefully you don't have it.

If I have it it's no big deal, just PITA having to stay home 14 days and the Mrs. will have to buy all the groceries.

I'm obviously not one of the one's who need a respirator or hospitalization. I had enough breath to dig, sweat, and curse twice today. Wore me out though.

Both
are corrosive to some materials...especially galvanized drain pans.
We sell certain drain line cleaners and coil cleaners for this reason.
But I use bleach water here at my home.

Very good idea.
wet/dry shop vacs with exhaust piping work perfect for this...it's what we use in the field.
Vaccuum up slime and water, reverse hose to blow out drain, add chemical to kill slime, blow chemical thru drain line.

Dug a little more this A.M. after water level lowered overnight.

I believe this is a small valve box for sprinkler systems that have valves in the yard instead of a centralized location like mine are in a pump house.

World's most moronic attempt at a dry well.

I'm not calling the A/C guys. The landscaping company can come tie this shit into the french drain. Freaking idiots. Even I know a dry well has to be much larger and surrounded by rock and fabric, and I'm not the damn landscaping company who does this shit for a living.

I only put the Drano and bleach in the PVC drain pipe. Not the pan or near the coil.

I have a heater AC stack with AC on top. I cut the down tube and put in a shut off valve. Below the shut off, I put in a T, elbow, and a piece of PVC that rises higher that the coil drain. It has a rubber stopper in it. When I need to clear the drain, I shut off the valve (closing off the coil drain) and blast air in to the PVC extension. Then follow with bleach or Drano. Open the valve, put the rubber stopper in and good to go.
