A rhetorical question, but I'll answer anyhow. If there are any prosecutions, it will take more time than we've had so far.

Again, my gut tells me this is different. I am not sure what will come of it, but it has gone beyond the tipping point of being able to sweep it under the rug with a few reprimands in one's personnel file.

Patience. I know it's hard to wait any longer, my body has been ready for a very long time, but there are still a couple more IG reports to come out. This one was about the Hillary emails, the others involve the Crossfire Hurricane operation and FISA court abuse. That's where the real criminality lies. And, as Horowitz let out of the bag yesterday, some of the questions being asked touch on Grand Jury business. Which, if you have really been reading between the lines, has been happening since around last November, ran by federal prosecutor Huber. There are sealed indictments. Oh, there are. And Sessions was comfortable enough with how that was coming along to let the world know about Huber a couple months ago. There have been zero leaks out of the Huber side of things. So I suggest popcorn.

a nice 5:30am, no knock, guns drawn, search warrant and arrest of Comey would be a nice touch. with cameras in tow, so those of us who are still resting can watch it later. that would be fitting.

All this stuff does is confirm my long-held stance:

Ignore this circus. It's all kabuki theater and Donald J. Trump will leave office one of 3 ways: losing his re-electio bid, losing his eligibility after completing a second term, or passing away during his presidency.

No serious person has ever for a moment believed the idiotic conspiracy theory that he's a secret Russian who colluded with Putin to steal the election, and absolutely nothing will happen to him because of the Mueller minstrel show.

I keep the TV in the background on CNBC and get exposed to real news instead of this horse-shit.

I haven't watched any of these hearings, there's no point. Well, other than a few YT clips. The congressional/senate hearings are pretty much useless and only serve to placate and obfuscate. But there are gems that come out, here and there, if you know where to look. And there's one thing that is glaringly obvious: They never expected their cover-up to fail. They've never experienced such a thing. All of this was supposed to be wrapped up in a bow, with Trump resigning. Wait, he wasn't even supposed to win in the first place. Oh, and the NSA was the one lone agency that wasn't in bed with the Obama/Clinton/NeverTrump Uniparty operation? Oh. That's not good.

I wish I still had a link but I read a really interesting article that discussed how a lot of this was occurring because, for many of these folks, it seemed a foregone conclusion that Hillary was going to win and they'd be rewarded for their loyalty. It was more important that their moral compass point in the same direction as Team Hillary than to what was the right thing to do for the country and democracy. It seems the quid pro quo was rampant and a whole lot of people had an, "oh, shit," moment when the election results were written in stone.
