Default Interesting testimony from IRS agents

this is interesting. Now, how come the "higher ups" can't answer questions asked of them? Oops... they would incriminate themselves or have to plead the 5th again.

In the Army as an Officer, the first thing I was taught was that "just following orders" is no excuse for following an illegal or immoral order. It seems these assholes know nothing of history except for what they want to read and re-write to suit their needs.

Exactly. As a former Naval Officer, we had training on types of legal, illegal, moral and immoral orders. I'm sure the other branches have similar training.

Yes. We were also required to teach those classes to our subordinates which included Junior Officers, NCOs, and the Junior Enlisted (lower enlisted before the PC bullshit term was mandatory).

I had one of my Platoon leaders get pissed because his Platoon Sergeant refused to follow an unethical order. The PL brought it to me, the PSG brought it to the First Sergeant, and I ended up chewing the 2LT's ass. Unethical, immoral, and illegal is always a big NO-GO! The LT was also required to teach a class about the improper orders to the rest of the battalion officers for Officer Professional Development as part of his corrective training.
