Default Has anyone here installed power windows

On their midyear?
I am looking at the kit that Corvette Central offers.
Any other kits offered less expensive/better?

Mine came from the factory with PW and I like it....very easy to roll both down for fresh air.

I'm just finishing up changing my white interior back to stock (std) black and it added an extra step in removing the console trim plate. A/C made the radio panels a little more difficult too, but I'm learning.

My 1965 Coupe has factory pw but my 1966 convertible doesn’t. I am considering switching my bright blue interior to the white/blue interior which is just white door panels and seat covers. So if I do it then would be the time to add power windows so I am just thinking ahead.

Had PW in my 65 vert. Worst part was the replacement switch. chinessium crap

If I had the choice to do again, I’d find something more updated than a 55 yr old design if possible

I plan on doing mine, someday. They make a switch that is triggered by the existing crank handle. And made right here in North Carolina, where everything is better.

Looks like Top Flight has the same kit as CC for $100+ less. I wanted to make sure both kits have the little recess bucket (you must a cut hole in tunnel) for the switch and the correct "looking" switch. They do.
