If you bolt pressure treated boards together, use galvanized nuts and bolts.

Grands will love it.
I built one similar to that with two friends of mine for a girl I was going out with 25 years ago. All three of us have good construction skills. To summarize it took us longer than the four hours the girl said it would. Trust me, it will take longer than you think.

I think I still have the bits I used. I can look for them if you want to use them.

Only if your wife approves me using your bits to drill my holes.

If the swings would clear, what about taking a chainsaw to the punky sections?
Would losing a foot of height make that much difference, especially if the rot was all subterranean? To anchor the stubs, drill a suitable sized hole at an angle near the base of each leg, fill the hole with epoxy and drive a length of rebar into the ground a couple feet. QED.

Dear Penthouse Forum,

I offered to loan some woodworking tools to a lady friend of mine. You're not going to believe what it led to...

We discussed that option, hubs nixed it, plus some of the wood is destroyed to far up to make that feasible.
