I don't get the valuations, but haven't looked too closely at their business model.

Back in March 2020, my wife tried to order from Publix for curbside pickup, but the Instacart premium was something like 10-12%. Not worth it.

Don't know, but I remember the huge tech fire sale they had. Lots of unhappy investors with the Borders folks.

That's all? What a bargain!!

Normally they don't tell you how much of a markup they charge, but one time the InstaCart shopper accidentally left the real Costco receipt in the bag when he delivered my stuff. An item-by-item comparison revealed that most items were marked up by 20%, one item was marked up by only 15%, and all the meats were marked uip by a whopping 25%.

Their warehouse was a few miles from here - I used to drive past it regularly. The parking lot was always full of Web Vans.
