That has not been my experience and in the private sector, does not appear to be Trump's (historically). Even his detractors of today, gave raving reviews about working for him in the past.

My mom worked for a very good plastic surgeon that was a pompous ass and arrogant as all hell and he had a waiting list months and months long. He was the shit, he knew it, and it made (and kept) him rich until he retired.

If I could wave a magic wand I'd fire the top 25% of the FBI and have the bottom 25% investigating them. Then I'd eliminate entire agencies. Find the best or most successful anywhere and you'll find arrogance FAR more than humility. My point being that none of that matters to me. If I own a company and my guy is outselling every salesman and every competitor's salesman, I am less concerned with his presentation. Whatever it is, it works., If it didn't, I'd know. Trump isn't filling arenas and gathering chanting crowds of the offended. He' is gathering crowds that like the results.

Results count. Methods that are a failure will not have successful results for long. He's been around a long time and I doubt his ways are newly acquired.

Having worked in corporate offices over the years, it seems this is slightly flawed thin king. Its nice to think that presentation doesnt matter. Its nice to think results are all that matter. It might even be true of certain small and mid sized businesses up to perhaps 10 or 15 million annual gross sales. As you go above that, things, by design, need to fall in line.
With respect to corporate execs, seemingly the pompous asses run in three to five year cycles. Wait a few years and there will be a new crew, results be damned. There are just too many who care about these things.

I also know, from speaking to women, that successful women who might have otherwise be on the fence last election, voted AGAINST Trump, despite it not being in their best interests. They did not like how he treated people. That mattered. Had he treated some folks better, female voters would have then looked at him with ease.

Example: a friend who was a lab rat for pharma went on to become a director level of manufacturing for a pharma. She was not top of the food chain, but is earning between 3 and 400k. We discussed many aspects of life prior to the election, and the potential tax implications should the current moron get elected. She was willing to take the tax hit to get Trump out of office.

Flange states exactly what I've run into over the past few years regarding powerful women (and not so powerful) and Trump. Cost be damned. They don't like him and the way they perceive he treats women, and want him to lose no matter what. My step-sister is a multi-millionaire and earns huge money and hates Trump. Loves Newsome. Never mind the taxes she pays. It's about being 'morally superior'.
