Default Finally got bit by a dog

Some kind of pit bull/lab mix. Block headed rat bastard He did a good job if I was a stranger... But we had met before.

Went over to get some tomatoes off my oldest kid. Stepped inside the back porch thinking to knock on the inner door, that door was open. Only got a step and a half inside the porch before that meat missile launched. Jumped back outside and slammed the door not realizing it had a doggie door. Never underestimate the element of surprise

Door didn't slow him down a bit. Happened real fast. He jumped up and nailed me on the elbow. I pushed him off and he bit my leg three times on the way down. Then it was my turn He got ahold of my boot as I pushed him away with my foot but hightailed it off the porch as my next move to end the fight was incoming. He might be stupid but he's got good instincts hahaha.

Only had a canine tooth penetrate the skin in two spots (elbow and knee). Thank God I wear real clothes. Would be getting some serious stitches right now otherwise.

Was bit by a dog when I was 8 or 9. Walking home from school, walked past this one house that had a dog chained up. Rat bastard somehow got close enough to bite me on the ankle.

When I was 12, I had an after school job in town, which was a 3 mile bike ride each way. The owner of the TV repair shop had a shop dog who usually slept all day. One day, I was taking a repaired TV or radio from the back of the store, to the front of the store, when the dog got startled and bit me.

Both dogs drew blood.

I got bit by a small dog on the ankle. I kicked him and he traveled about 7 ft in the air. He won't bite again.

Was not looking forward to it It's just that after a multitude of confrontations it's a miracle I wasn't bit sooner.

Do you mean the dog learned its lesson or that it did not survive the kick?

Asking for a dog friend.

Naw, he was just doing his job. I was expected and showed on time but the dog had no way of knowing that. For all he knew I had no invitation. Besides he asked forgiveness by being friendly and pissing everywhere. Apology was accepted.

It landed on it's back not like a cat that can land on it's feet. It survived.
