Wonder why you see no Russian made vehicles in this country?
Garbage, can not even meet the basic of DOT standards.

Some years ago, while working the docks in Baltimore, a shipment of Russian made cars arrived and were stored at the far remote end of the terminal, they sat there for several years, just falling apart. Wish I had pics of that, biggest hunks of junk I ever saw, and the most putid of colors.

I believe they wound up being destroyed.

Probably Ladas. A Russian manufactured version of a Fiat.
James May has a show on Amazon prime that the first episode is about “people’s cars” . He spends quite a bit of time on the Lada and what a POS it was.
