21 Year Highland Park

Tried to get 25, 21, or 18 year Macallan...none to be had.

Based on recommendations here, I decided to try this. 25 year was suggested, but was unavailable. This is the same price as the Mac 18. It has about the same bite as the Mac 18, great bouquet, and pretty good taste. Similar taste, but maybe a bit more smokey? But not too smokey.

Pretty damn good.

Very similar taste to Macallan. I do still prefer Macallan, but I could rock this any time for the price. I'd like to try the 25. I found a store in CA that will ship me a 25 Macallan, and it's only $1,999.99, or $200 less than I can find in FL. I'll likely order that when I get my 2nd paycheck at the new job (read: signing bonus) I've burned a shit ton of cash over my 5 week vacation before starting work. Wife's IRA, 20 monitors, video cards, high wing spoiler (), home improvements, moving daughter to new house.....on and on.

I haven’t had the 21, just 18 and 25. I’m not a fan of super smokey Scotch. I’d never heard of Highland Park until a work trip to Scotland. I’ve been hooked since.

By far, one of the best Scotch's I've had in a long time!
(cask strength, a few drops of spring water, I use Evian, really wakes it up!)

I don't like smokey either. I just found 25 year Mac in Estero, FL. $2,199, but only 15 minutes from me.
