The non-single file is kinda BS if it's seriously holding up traffic. The other stuff really only puts the riders at risk, so if they get smashed, so be it.

Well, it is kind of traumatic for the driver if a stupid bicyclist bounces off the windshield and down your hood.

French police believe the sign holder fled to Germany right after the crash.

Next stop, Argentina or Brazil?

Wonder why she would go to Germany when the sign was written in Italian?

Theoretically:

First, it's the French police so who knows why Inspector Clouseau believes anything.

Second, I'm pretty sure the sign is in French.

Third, maybe she's German?

Fourth, maybe the crash happened near the German border. I tried to find a map showing the crash site ref the German border but was unable to do so in the brief time I allotted.

Fifth, maybe the first train at the local train station was to Germany.

Sixth, she got an offer to model for Victoria's Secret in Munich.

RONG!

She doesn't seem fat enough, or ugly enough, or seem to have a penis, so we can be pretty sure VS is not interested in hiring her.

As an avid bicyclist, and one who DOES follow the rules of the road (as well as everyone I ride with) you all that want to smash or run over cyclists can kiss my ass.
I've lost 3 friends due to car drivers not paying attention and drifting into (supposedly), dedicated bike lanes, sheer negligence, texting, whatever
One was drunk and high at 7A and drove his work truck into a group of 6 riders waiting at a stop light, where he killed 5 of them. 😡
So 🖕🏻 and realize that there are really very few of those azzholes compared to total ridership around the world, and they have NO protection against a 2 ton auto with a pissed off, or inattentive driver.

I stand by my original statement, brother. I believe she is fat enough and ugly enough. No comment about the current state of her genitalia. That's above my pay grade.

We have a velodrome near my house. We have multiple parks with bike paths. No real reason for bikes to share the road.

Do we have to share the road with skateboarders, mini-bikes, roller skaters? It is a ROAD for CARS that is being "borrowed" by bikes.

If you use a ski run for hiking, you need to stay out of the skiers path, not the other way around.

Velocity, weight, and accident avoidance, are NOT to the car's advantage. Your point that they have no protection against a 2 ton vehicle is precisely why they should not share the road with said vehicles.

I don't want anyone to hit a cyclist. However, if you came here you'd find out that most DON'T follow the traffic laws. They know they won't be stopped or ticketed so why bother with laws.

Pretty narrow minded thinking...
You're lucky your city has such a amenities.. However it is the LAW that bicycles can use the road also. Stay off interstates most certainly and don't be an asshole should be expected, and for that matter 55 mph roads for ghe most part. We cannot ride on sidewalks by law in most states. Do you run over someone walking along road also?

Here in Tucson, we do have paths off some of the roads, but most of the bigger roads have dedicated bike lanes as well.

Don't be silly. You have your passenger open the door and whack the pedestrian with the door.

This is pretty funny.

When I go to a truck forum it is filled with people who hate Corvette/ Porsche/ Ferrari owners who dive in and out of traffic at high speed with no regards for anyone else. They point out that there are racetracks everywhere, and if these hot shots are such billy badass drivers they should be on the track and not on a public road where they can kill somebody.
