bilmem Have you ever visited millenialls?
Visiting wife,s son and wife for Christmas. No tv and they enjoy watching youtube and movies on their phones. Little conversation except telling each other about the new memes they are looking at. Having a great time. All this after driving 10 hours in the rain the enire time. Who says I don,t know how to have a good time. The wife is having a great time just being with her son.

When I was married my FIL would gather all the phones at the beginning of the family vacation and give them back when we all returned.

10 Adults and 10 kids forced to interact the old fashioned way.

It was incredible and I'm glad he did it.

We had something similar happens years ago... Packed the car and left after 2 days. We hadn't been there in years and we were completely ignored. Didn't go back for years, fuk em. I can be ignored at home anytime I want and don't have to drive 12 hrs. For once the wife was in total agreement.
I've been known to tell people to leave when they are on phone when visit me also.

One evening me my wife and brother and sister in law was at Chedders for dinner. Sitting at the table across from us us a family of 4. Every one on their phones. When the waitress came over to take their order the father and to kids told her what they wanted but the mother didn't even look at the waitress. She pointed at the menu and continued texting on her phone. We all that was pathetic.
