Heat the bbq and preserves in a crock pot until blended, dump in the smokies..heat on medium until steamy. Serve hot

As a variant:

16 hot dogs cut into quarters
2 8-oz jars of Red Currant Jelly
1 cup of Jack Daniels (or a whisky of your choice)
1 Tbs of dry mustard

Put all ingredients in a crockpot for 6 hours and enjoy!
