Scam email claiming to be Amazon

I received this email today claiming to be from Amazon, but note the broken English and combination of words that don't make sense. If you mouse over the link, it does not match and is a LOT longer than what is shown. I have forwarded the email to Amazon as a scam attempt. Guessing - comes from India.

Dear friend,
My name is Berry. I want to send a power bank
supply(power) to you as thank. If you feel satisfied with the item you ordered from me, could you please help me by leaving a positive review at my Amazon link? Here is my link:

I've been getting fake Yahoo emails lately.

Sheesh, I wonder how many people actually fall for this? The offer of something free in return for a review is too tempting to some folks I guess.

I couple of years ago I ordered some iPhone screen protectors on Amazon, & got a poorly worded followup email from the seller asking if I was satisfied with the product, which I was.

Shortly after that, I got another email from them, again lacking English skills, offering me my choice of small items in exchange for a review. I took them up on the offer & got a nice USB ethernet adapter. No scam, no problems. The link discrepancy in your email might be a concern though.

So just out of curiosity... did you actually order something through Amazon that was filled by LQM Direct and if so was the order ID 114-0069027-2681832?

I received a response from Amazon this morning from their Fraud Customer Support. The email is NOT a fake or scam. As for checking on Amazon if I had an order number - no I did not check. I wanted to see what Amazon had to say first. I always feel suspicious when I see broken English in an email. I'm real careful on what links I click on.

Did you ask "Amazon" if the email was a fake... by replying to the email with stuttering English?
