Other than bolting in replacements, I'd never attempt to rebuild a transmission or a differential, or an engine for that fact. BUT, receiving long blocks, or replacement diffs and trannies, it's all good. Quite easy actually.

Looks like a well thought out part too. Before you do the actual assembly, make sure all the threaded holes are good and the bushings fit the two piece box.

That way when you go to assemble it, you know it all fits. ( example, they send a good part to the anodizer. The anodizer has something floating in the tank and it bonds in the threaded hole. You have a screwed up part and a disassembled car )

All fixed!!! What a glorious change. Works perfectly, didn't break an effing thing, and the short throws are SO PURE!.

MGW Shifters for the MFW.

Their videos on youtube make this so fricking easy.
