I am not clairvoyant, but I'd guess he grew up shitty, raised by possibly one shitty parent or grandparent. May have been beat up or bullied. Too stupid to be a successful thug, not fast or tall enough for sports. Couldn't afford an education. Joined the military for the benefits, not out of patriotism or duty. Sucked his way to a few promotions, got out when the gravy train was loaded enough to support him and missed telling people what to do, so he sucked his way into being a mod and now out of bitterness, he is getting his version of reparations.

They have security, but per company policy, the security guys are not allowed to touch them. It said right in the video that they just walk right past the security guards. Given that, what would be the point of hiring more security? In fact, I would argue that they should cut costs by getting rid of security guards who aren't allowed to do anything.
