From years of experience, I never believe reviewers, don't even read them anymore. They should go out and get real jobs. You know what they say about opinions huh.....like a-holes, everyone's got one. The only reviewer I pay attention to is ME! And that's the only one that counts!

My 2 cents for what it's worth:

War of the Worlds meets Independence Day meets True Grit meets Fistfull of Dollars.

Better cowboy flick than alien flick.

Aliens were a bit too 2-dimensional. They could have developed them more.

Could have developed the plot a little more too, but not bad overall.

Good action. Really, really good action.

Damn good acting, and a great cast.

Kinda disappointed in that I thought for sure Clancy Brown (The Kurgen from Highlander) was going to be an alien, but no. Still gave a stellar performance though.

Every aspect and plot devices of old western was represented, which was pretty cool.

We had no problem. Got good seats, and the theater wasn't crowded. Now the Saturday Matinee will probably be a different story altogether.

Pick your times when you go. Nothing like the big-screen experience.

I saw it today and it was better than I expected. On par with most movies you'd expect of this genre (Armageddon, Independence Day, etc...)

Never a dull moment that's for sure.

Four of us went and we all enjoyed it. I guess if you were a pretentious "movie critic" and lived to nitpick every movie to death, you could find flaws. If you watched "Mars Attacks" and it irked you that the aliens were not "real" enough, or you watched "Independence Day" and it irked you that they didn't develop the Will Smith character adequately, well, you may find fault with this movie.

And if I remember correctly, there is only one scene with kissing and it isn't much. There is a bit of language and one scene in particular that is pretty graphic (a person dies in a really painful way) and of course the mentioned non-frontal nudity, but that's about it. As I was walking out of the movie a father/son were behind me and the son (age approx 11) was gushing over how much he liked the movie.
