It's sorta like when Chinaski sold his C3. A lot of us thought it was priced a little low, too. But you know what? He sold it. And quickly.

A lot of us have a distorted opinion of what Corvettes are worth, that's only natural. But the fact is, the market is a small one and they can be hard to sell. I don't think you will have any trouble at that price.

Well, I am "reasonably" clear on what things are WORTH, but in my internet shopping, it is sellers that have the distorted opinion.

I would typically see a car like that one for no less than $10k.

Definitely.

I also think Snide is right about the location, though. It would be worth more in a warmer climate. It's also not the best time of the year for selling a sports car either.

Up here, no, it is not the right time of year. But we are moving, and I don't want to have to drive it to PA if I don't have to. But I also don't want to give it away.

No title in the current owner's name. Probably cannot get one now. Needs $$$$$ paint job. No A/C. No Title. And did I mention you could only register it in a State where older vehicles are title exempt? Or resell it in one as well? At least the smog pump is still there though, since it's worth more for parts than as a car in a large part of the country.
