My friends wife needed a professional headshot. Did this as a favor. I'm going to post up more portraits of friends if you stay tuned.

Back in the college daze I worked as a Photographer's Assistant - primarily with three guys - a Sports Illustrated football guy, an established fashion shooter and a guy named Francis "Frank" Ford - https://urbanmilwaukee.com/2014/03/2...-photographer/

That's how I met my wife. She worked with an agency doing work for Redbook. We shot it. She came to the studio to pick up prints (back then we had these weird strips of film that had to be dipped in deadly chemicals and then, something, something a print is made.)

I got her contact information from her file and stalked her. (my wife, not this asian woman.)

This one is interesting. Brigitte is from France. She is VERY natural. Doesn't wear makeup, doesn't do hair. Yet, look how beautiful she is.

I find that many women look their very best without all that shit on their face.
It is sad that they are taught to chase "perfection" when they are so beautiful as individuals.

Brigitte is petite has a thick accent and sparkling eyes. I was worried at first when she showed up. It never occurred to me that she would show up au natural. My secret to photo graphing people is to talk to them. Distract them. Wait for the perfect moment.

The girl I had a crush on all through high school and college, who ended up marrying someone else and moving out of state, was a no makeup gal. No earrings, no heavily styled 'Texas' hair.....just beautiful to me. It was really weird to see her all made up on her wedding day. I guess she was even prettier with the makeup and hair done, but I had mixed feelings, obviously, as she was my one true love, even as I married (then divorced) another woman.

My high school girlfriend was like that. Total girl next door. Maybe some lip gloss but not much else. However 35-24-36D.

A natural Rocky Mountain girl next door. Thank god she ask me out first. We dated from 9th grade until a year after graduation. She married some other dude and became a biochemist. We are still friends although we don’t talk because husband fragile *****.
