Have had my red one since December 23, 2003...at 175,000 miles now, oil changed a coupla weeks ago. It rolled over 100K on a Corvette cruise event several years ago.

The black one came a coupla years later (October 2005), 85,000 miles on that one.

I've been banished from C7 Gen over there for admitting I drive it in the rain. Saying that it's a depreciating Chevy got me lots of ugly personal attacks.

I drove my new (to me) 1999 Corvette home from the selling dealer in a thunderstorm and then let it sit in the driveway in the rain when I got home. And it survived!

Honest to God, the dealer I bought it from really asked me if I was sure I wanted to drive it home that night due to the storm.
