We were just eating dinner last night when all of a sudden she turns to and says, "hey, did you hear...."
<tick, tock>
(She totally lost her train of thought)
<tick, tock>
Me: "...that Peter Falk died? Ya, I heard".
She looked like a dear in headlights that just saw a ghost. Totally fkd her up.
