Back surgery......
Some of yawl know about my spine crapping out due to extra vert in lo spine, known as spondalytis L6......and so over the decades some of the cartilage has worn/gone from one or two of the joints, so the bones fuse together.....and of course it's been a PITA all my life.....but for the most part I had to watch how I handled myself, and always been picky about mattresses......lately sleep has been hell due to finding a comfy spot, snoring and when moving/turning over a sharp dagger feeling woke the HELL outta me.....
then it developed last winter into a PITA down the right ass/legs/calfs/foot arch even once in a while.....been to spine/pain control over the last 3 months or so....well, finally surgery today....in around 1pm, and now 7pm home in my lounge chair/bed......the cut in middle of my lo back stings like HELL, but I can feel a YEUGGE improvement elsewhere... so for a few daze laying around doin nuttin, but type and send to annoy yawl..... sorry 'bout that......  BTW, the staff from cute young nurse through the knock out Doc, and of course the main Sturgeon who did good job fishing around in there, it took longer than he expected because the condition was more advanced/worse than even the MRI? exposed.....so more chipping and chopping to get dinner served.....   The ENTIRE group was GREAT!!!!!! |

Sure you felt good yesterday due to the local anesthetic was still working, I hope you are as good today. I too need back surgery, but my good friend who is a neurosurgeon, and who fused my beck years ago, told me to AVOID back surgery as long as possible as failed back and unsuccessful surgeries are common. If I had a guarantee, I would do it RIGHT now. Best of wishes to you! |
