C. I didnt pay for a flight to listen to some kid scream the whole fkn way.

Stangkiller..."People on the plane are giving me dirty looks. So I can't get my kid to shut up...have they never had kids??? I'd drive but it's flippin 12 hrs vs 3 hrs on the plane. I paid for my tickets, and I have the right to be here as much as they do, I'll tell you that!"

Sorry Liz having kids doesn't entitle you to disrupt everybody else....there was plenty of other well behaved kids on the flight but only one out of control brat.

Trust me, mine were never out of control brats.

I know the kind you're talking about. They usually have parents who (1) are oblivious that the kids are even doing anything or (2) they are trying to quiet the kids but it's obvious the kids are not used to any discipline.

Was the entire flight that way?

Probably an half te flight, I cranked up the headphones but the kid did finally fall asleep. Turns out it was grandma returning the kid to it's parents.

And then there are the other kids..

The ones that normally behave well, and would never try acting that bad at home because they know they would get a smack on the butt.

But for some reason they know their Mom & Dad's hands are tied and they know the threats are not going anywhere..

When I flew back from Dallas last month there was a screamer two rows back and to my right. The whole flight. Thank God for a tail wind that night.

It's epidemic! I consider a night out for dinner without encountering a screaming, misbehaving kid a real treat. However, I get that treat VERY seldom. What really pisses me off is when the "parents" think it's funny. If I was a restaurant manager I would ask the idiots to control the crumb cruncher or get the hell out.
