They gave me a sample bottle the last time I bought jack I hvent touched it.

A couple of years ago, I found something called "American Honey". Bourbon (Wild Turkey, I think) with added honey. It was pretty nasty.

I'm a Jack & Coke guy and when mixed it was so sweet i couldn't finish the glass. I'll probably just drink it on the rocks from here on out til the bottle is finished. Its not bad but I probably won't buy it again. I'll stick to my black label Beam..

Essentially straight up its a good sipping whiskey but don’t mix it.

I think where you went wrong was mixing it with anything. It is not whiskey with honey, it's honey liqueur with Jack in it.
