The Vette Barn was timely, sorely needed when it started. Gary offered something that allowed us to give CF the finger. Very thankful for that

Also, with no advertising... it was a clear win for most of us.

Sadly, though, this type of venture is more a "labor-of-love"... and not a business generating income. Trying to sell something that was never a business to begin with... is a difficult thing to do. While I strongly believe Gary should get something for his effort - the forum has scant little assets and practically no monetary value (in a business environment).

* I hope VB continues on intact.
* I hope Gary gets some sorta reward for all his effort.

sometimes doing what is right is its own reward.

you do what is right because it needs doing. because you love and care about those affected by your actions.

when you hold the door for a stranger, do you stand there with your palm open, waiting for a quarter. if you are lucky, you'll get a nice "thank you". and that's it.

doing kindness does not require repayment every time it is done.

Integrity - one of the things my boys have heard me emphasize all too many times. But the older one gets it...and I see it happening quite often. Those are the moments that you realize that they might have listened to their mother and I.

Dig a grave Corvettes can kiss my ass, some commie SOB put me on perma band some years ago, and soon after this group was formed.....and in their C3 group that have that POS.....I forget his handle, but he tried to take over the C3 forums on CF many years ago......and pissed off many of the NCRS types....BUT the only thing he did was suggest the Hydro Boost conversion for C3 and I have to admit, it's a GREAT addition.....

Get all snotty with ME over poly-ticks and I wipe out your ticks.....CASE CLOSED!!! why?? simple.....I know more than anyone on these Corvette related forums about inner circle crooked poly ticks in Wash DC.....PERIOD....
