now she is laying on the bare ceramic tile floor, right behind my office chair, just doing nothing, and doing it well.

swelling from the infection has gone down some overnight, she's able to get up and move around on her own, which is good, but for now, prefers to just lay quietly. can't blame her.

she's feeling much better today. licked two bowls of ice cream clean, went out on her own (i followed, but off leash), and peed like a horse again. now resting with me in my office. swelling has gone down noticeably, so i think the meds are working.
