with no way to save your work at any point in the process, It gets a little aggravating. easily as much so as dealing with an auto parts store that doesn't have a solenoid for a Chevrolet pickup truck.

Only thing Advance is good for are air fresheners...but you'll still be asked
for year, make and model.

I made the mistake of going there years ago for some cheapo tires and an alignment, I was half a heartbeat away from jail before I left. There's one lucky tech walking around somewhere. Guess he didn't know I could read lips.

As a person that had worked PT in a garage/ speed shop for years, and of course my own work. I learned way back depending on circumstances if you can take in the old part with you it eliminates many phuck ups.

Works real good on superseded parts numbers and universal fit stuff. Of course many times you just go to the parts store with the vechicle info and hope for the best!

I can't recall having too many problems in the past, but I have had a few. One was buying a power antenna for my C5 Vert, bought a "universal" one... Uhh, not so universal. Universal if you don't mind cutting the wiring, and own a machine shop and can make your own bulkhead fitting so it can attach to the fender. Lol.

In a case like this, if you'd have told me I couldn't just go grab a solenoid for a Chevy 2500HD w/6.0L, (rare truck don'tcha know)....

Your memory is still good. I returned those battery terminals when I got back from Dubai in late November 2014.
