Kasich has the same chance as I do of being nominated. And he has since June. Christie is also a placeholder, as was that guy from New York that threw in the towel recently (Pataki), the GOPe changed the rules of the primaries specifically to get Jeb! elected. They just didn't count on Trump or it would have worked, totally worked. |

Also note that in these Fox debates, Fox brought in Bill Sammon to craft the questions:

Paul Ryan gave Obama every single thing he wanted in the last budget bill, including the store.

Fox was also inviting a Mexican that hates Trump and a Muslim that hates Trump to the debate to ask questions.

Not everything, but he didn't really have much choice, thanks to Ted Cruz. Another government shutdown would have handed the Presidency and a bunch of Congressional seats to the Democrats.

I don't understand most of your post, but as far as Kasich goes: Without Ohio, the Republicans have about a zero chance of winning. Imagine a Kasich/Rubio ticket; that's a nearly 100% chance to win.
Y'all enjoy the rest of your evening, I'm out... |

My opinion: Kasich/Rubio might be a winning combo...but I doubt it. To the voters, that team will sound like just more of the same old-same old. Voters, both Democrat and Republican, are very upset with the way government is being run, hence the popularity of Trump and Sanders. A "traditional" slate of candidates (Kasich/Rubio or Hillary/Whomever) will just keep more people away from the voting precint and feeling like the Country is out of their control.
Voters don't understand why Muslims are being welcomed into our Country and coddled by our Government when they openly avow to control our Country. They don't understand why the tide of illegal immigrants isn't being stemmed when these immigrants care nothing for and contribute nothing to our Country, but they love its benefits, all provided by our money. To voters, everything has gotten out of their control, and their opinions don't matter anymore. Voters are merely expected to fund the Government and its misguided waste and policies. We have a $20T deficet that Government doesn't worry about and instead keeps blithley increasing without the least bit concern. I can see why certain candidates have appeal. It may sound ludicrous, but this Country is on the verge of having the Democrat Party nominating a Socialist for President. Sanders leads Hillary in the initial primaries. Just...wow! And Trump is behind Sanders in support. That's how desperate voters are. |

Can't Stump the Trump.
Trump wins the debate he didn't even attend. CNN spent the hour leading up to the Trumptacular 4 Troops event singing Trump's praises and marveling at his brilliance. FOX News played a TON of video clips of Ted Cruz showing he's a liar during the debate. (Same for Rubio, although only Cruz appears to be a threat to Trump ATM). Cruz and Rubio have been knifing each-other all night, while Rand Paul knifes them both and Chris Christie scolds them both. Jeb Bush actually looked like a passable candidate and somewhat resolute in the absence of Donald Trump clowning him all evening, which hurts the other establishment lane candidates in New Hampshire. The last 2 winners of Iowa willingly let Trump use them as pawns and showed up to his even, standing on stage smiling while Trump stood behind a TRUMP 4 TROOPS podium. |

I groaned when Donald Trump announced that he was entering the race. Just the fact he had a TV reality show where he and his kids sat in that fake boardroom being perfect and cutting down the contestants was enough to make me puke let alone him running some fake ass presidential campaign. I came to the conclusion that I was wrong about Trump's campaign and his motives after he had been doing it a couple of months. He is the most genuine candidate I have seen in a long time. He doesn't give canned political speeches where he reads from a teleprompter. He may have a few notes, but instead of a speech he talks to the audience. He is great at connecting to his audience and comes across as genuine and sincere. I believe him when he says we are going to make America great again. I don't think he would put this much effort into it if his intentions were less than sincere. |
